Welcome to AlphaNet and the Alpha-1 Risk Assessment.

AlphaNet understands Alpha-1. Since 1995, AlphaNet has provided health management services to thousands of individuals diagnosed with Alpha-1. We are committed to improving the health status of our community by providing health recourses that help you understand and maintain your health at the highest level possible. Because Alpha-1 is a genetic condition that makes it more likely you will develop certain diseases, we know that living with Alpha-1 presents risks to your health even though you may feel “healthy”. That’s why AlphaNet developed the REACH (Risk Evaluation to Achieve Continued Health) program; a program specifically focused on maintaining the health of Alpha’s whose current status does not require any advanced treatments such as augmentation therapy.

The following risk assessment can be a great first step in determining the level of increased risk presented by the diagnosis of Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency. It contains a short series of questions that will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. This assessment is strictly confidential and at the end will help you to:
· Assess your current health status and identify those medical and lifestyle conditions that may lead to the development or worsening of common diseases associated with Alpha-1.
· Take action to reduce your level of risk, including making you aware of the services provided by AlphaNet and AlphaNet’s REACH program.
· Provide you with the opportunity to enroll, at no cost to you, in AlphaNet’s REACH program.
